🛍️ Event Overview

The Zen Garden Grand Opening Weekend is a celebration of culture, community, and wellness in South Sacramento. Vendors will participate in Saturday, May 3, 2025. Attendance will be confirmed upon acceptance.

✅ Vendor Requirements & Responsibilities

All vendors must:

• Comply with all local, state, and federal business laws and regulations, including any applicable permits/licenses.

• Adhere to all current health and safety protocols, including mask mandates if required at the time of event.

• Provide a complete 10’x10’ pop-up canopy tent with a minimum of 40 lbs of weights (no exceptions).

• Supply all necessary tables, chairs, and coverings.

• Be fully self-sufficient, including any needed power sources.

• Keep your space neat and remove all trash before departure — no garbage left behind.

• Maintain professionalism and respect at all times with staff, guests, and fellow vendors.

• Remain set up for the full duration of the event (no early breakdowns allowed).

  
  

🚫 Prohibited Items & Policies

• Absolutely no cannabis consumption, smoking, or open cannabis products on event grounds — no exceptions, no warnings. You will be asked to leave.

• No illegal, dangerous, or inappropriate materials. Anything deemed questionable by the event team must be immediately removed.

• No food or beverage vendors permitted at this event.

• No amplified sound or disruptive displays without prior written approval.
  

🧾 Liability & Legal Disclaimers

• This is a FREE community event. While there is no vendor fee, no-shows will be disqualified from participating in future events hosted by Zen Garden or its affiliates.

• Zen Garden and its parent organization Sacramento King Equity Venture Inc. reserves the right to photograph, record, and promote participating vendors and their businesses before, during, and after the event across all media platforms.

• Vendors are solely responsible for any claims, damages, or liability arising from their participation, services, or products.

• Vendor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Zen Garden, its affiliates, and event collaborators from any and all claims, liabilities, or damages.

• Zen Garden is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property belonging to vendors, their staff, or attendees. Vendors accept full responsibility for any materials used, displayed, or sold at their booth.

• You understand that submitting this form does not guarantee participation. Vendors will be selected based on alignment with Zen Garden’s values, event needs, and space availability.

• You acknowledge that failure to show up after acceptance may result in ineligibility for future events hosted or sponsored by Zen Garden or its partners.

• You agree to follow all rules, requirements, and policies listed above — including but not limited to safety, setup/tear-down, and cannabis-free participation.

• You understand and accept the event's zero tolerance policy for cannabis consumption on-site. Violation of this policy will result in immediate removal.
